In addition to offering customers special added value on Mother's Day, Segmüller pursued the goal of increasing customer traffic in their stores and gaining new newsletter subscribers through GDPR-compliant data requests.
The core idea was to celebrate the Mother's Day campaign with a photo booth in the furniture stores. This should not only offer customers the opportunity to create personalized photo gifts such as photo strips or photos with Mother's Day greetings, but also strengthen the bond with Segmüller as a brand.
Segmüller continued the photo boothpromotion in several branches throughout Germany. Customers who took part in the campaign were able to design their photos as a personal gift and were also given the opportunity to sign up for Segmüller's newsletter using a GDPR-compliant data query form. This strategy not only provided a special customer experience on Mother's Day, but also effectively increased in-store customers and helped generate valuable leads for future marketing initiatives.
