Ricola's main objectives for the store opening included creating a unique customer experience, monetization through the sale of photos and offering a gamification opportunity in the store. These objectives were designed to help make the store launch a standout event while also creating a new revenue stream.
The idea behind the project was to create a unique store experience that seamlessly combines digital interaction and physical presence. A digital gamification platform was programmed, on which users could win prizes live in the store and see their results on a leaderboard. In addition, a custom photo booth was developed that enabled users to explore different Ricola brand worlds using AI. The idea of selling the pictures taken by users to them was aimed at generating additional revenue and increasing the value of the brand.
The realization of the project included the development and implementation of the digital gamification platform, which enabled users to participate interactively and win prizes. The construction and programming of the individual photo booth offered an immersive experience in the brand worlds of Ricola. The establishment of a system for selling the photos created served to generate additional revenue. The combination of photo system and gamification created a smart interaction concept that increased customer loyalty and put the Ricola brand in the foreground. Data evaluation and reporting of key figures to Ricola was carried out to measure the success of the project and adapt future strategies.
Overall, the project offered a perfect symbiosis of POS marketing and live marketing, whereby Ricola not only created an unforgettable store experience, but also opened up new ways of monetization and customer interaction.
