The goal of this promotion for Barbie/Warner Bros for the movie premiere was to increase audience awareness and engagement in a unique way. The goal was to create a direct connection between moviegoers and the Barbie universe while making the movie release event an unforgettable experience. The focus was not only to give visitors an insight into the world of Barbie, but also to offer them a personal and lasting memory of the movie.
The central idea was to create a customized and fitted-out Barbie bus, which was used as a mobile attraction at various locations. A key element of this campaign was the development of a special Barbie photo app that allowed visitors to print their own A1 Barbie poster in the movie cover design within seconds. This idea aimed to interactively connect visitors to the Barbie universe and give them a customized memory of the film.
The implementation included the provision of the entire technical infrastructure. The Barbie Bus was placed in various locations to ensure maximum visibility and accessibility.
The photo app we programmed was the heart of the campaign. It allowed visitors to integrate themselves into a Barbie movie cover and convert this experience into a poster directly on site using an A1 printer. This feature offered fans an instant and personal reminder of the movie and enhanced the movie premiere experience.
Additionally, the technical equipment of the Barbie bus included a high-quality photo system and the A1 printers required for the printing process. The individual software programming ensured smooth operation and a high-quality output of the posters.
This innovative combination of a mobile experience space, interactive technology and personalized memorabilia made the cinema premiere a special event and strengthened fans' emotional connection to the Barbie brand and the Warner Bros. film.
