Goal

The goal for JBL at Gamescom was threefold: Firstly, to create an experience/interaction area that would immerse visitors in the world of JBL. Secondly, the focus was on generating data for the newsletter and product promotion. Thirdly, the aim was to effectively showcase JBL's brand ambassadors and influencers and thus strengthen the brand presence.

Idea

The idea was to create a creative and interactive environment that combined all the objectives set. We conceptualized and designed the entire experience area from the ground up to provide a holistic and brand-specific experience. Central to this was a digital retro-gamification inspired by classic games such as Pacman, where participants had to enter their details to win JBL products. In addition, we developed a customized photo booth with AI technology that allowed users to photograph themselves in different brand worlds, creating digital images with JBL brand ambassadors and influencers.

Implementation

The implementation of the project comprised various key components. The Experience Area was designed as a central element at the trade fair to create an immersive brand experience. The digital gamification platform was not only used for entertainment, but also for effective data collection. By integrating influencers into photo booth , we were able to create a direct connection between the trade fair visitors and the brand ambassadors. The complete project takeover from brainstorming to realization enabled a seamless and effective implementation that perfectly reflected JBL's brand values while actively engaging Gamescom visitors.

Overall, the project provided an outstanding example of how the combination of POS marketing and live marketing can create an effective and impactful brand experience that both strengthens brand loyalty and supports specific business objectives.
