The aim of the campaign was to offer customers a personal way to show their gratitude while creating an interactive brand experience through photo booth . Merci also wanted to attract new newsletter subscribers and generate relevant leads through this campaign.
The idea was to give visitors the opportunity to personalize a Merci pack with an individual photo, name and a message of thanks, print the label directly and stick it on the Merci pack. Afterwards, visitors could take a photo in the Merci-branded photo booth , which was then presented publicly on a large LED screen to share the moment of gratitude with others.
The photo booth with print terminal was used in Berlin and Oberhausen. After visitors had designed their Merci pack, they were able to take a photo, which was also provided with a personal thank-you message. These photos were then displayed on a large LED screen. The personalized Merci packs served as a special gift to express gratitude. By using a GDPR-compliant data request form after the photo was taken, Merci was able to effectively attract new newsletter subscribers and collect important leads, resulting in increased brand interaction and sales promotion. The campaign was a great success at both locations, with thousands of individual Merci packs being designed within two days.
